Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
- 1 c. (12 oz. jar) raspberry preserves or fruit jam
- 1 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Combine cake mix and oatmeal; add melted butter and stir until crumbly.

2Measure about 1/2 of mixture into 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased pan.

3Press firmly to cover bottom.

4Combine preserves and water, mixing well.

5Spread over crumb mixture.

6Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over preserves.

7Pat firmly to make top even.

8Bake at 375° for 18 to 23 minutes or until top is very light brown.

9Cool in pan and cut into bars.

10Store in airtight container.
