Raspberry (Or Strawberry) Pie

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. fresh raspberries
  • 1 recipe plain pastry
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together, and add to berries. Line 9 inch pie pan with pastry.

    Add filling, dot with butter. Cover with top crust.

    Bake in very hot oven 450° for ten minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer.
