Raspberry Tangy Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry Jell-O
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 diced banana
  • 1/2 c. whipped cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and set aside to cool. Soften cream cheese with mayo and add gradually the pineapple, bananas and nuts.

    When gelatin mixture begins to thicken, add cheese mixture.

    Fold in whipped cream.

    Chill until firm in 1-quart mold.

    In summer, fresh strawberries can be added.
