  • 4 crookneck yellow squash
  • 12 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 34 cup flour
  • 4 extra large eggs
  • 12 ounces evaporated milk

Directions

    Cut up squash and cook in 1/2 cup of water for 10-15 minutes until soft.

    Drain squash and set aside.

    In a large bowl mix together butter, sugar, vanilla, salt, flour, eggs and milk.

    Add squash and mix well.

    Pour mixture into a buttered 9x13 casserole dish.

    Bake in 375 oven for 25 minutes or until slightly golden brown and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Serve slightly warm with whipped cream and any fruits you wish.
