- 4 Tbsp. bacon grease

- 1 large regular onion
- 1 large bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 green onions
- Creole seasoning, salt, pepper and 2 bay leaves
- Tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1 lb. beef smoked sausage
- 1 lb. ham (ham steak)
Directions

1Cook the first 9 ingredients for 2 hours and then add the beef smoked sausage and ham.

2Add water as needed.

3Cook for a few more hours.

4Mash beans to thicken.

5Serve over rice.
