- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. vinegar

1Chop red cabbage.

2Add apples (peeled and chopped).

3Add onion (chopped).

4Add butter, brown sugar, salt and 1 cup of water. Cook for 5 minutes, then drain.

5Add vinegar and 1/2 cup of water. Simmer for 1/2 hour.
