Ingredients
- 5 lb. beef brisket
- 5 tsp. vinegar or wine
- seasoned salt
- Accent
- salt
- pepper
- garlic salt
- paprika
- 1 medium onion, sliced
Directions

1Place brisket in broiler pan or baking dish.

2Sprinkle wine or vinegar over brisket.

3Sprinkle generously with rest of seasonings except onion.

4Marinate overnight in refrigerator.

5Remove cover and place in 350° oven for 1 hour to brown.

6Remove to baking dish or Dutch oven (something with tight lid).

7Slice onion over top of brisket.

8Use drippings from browning pan.

9Add enough water to make 2 cups of liquid.

10Pour over brisket.

11Cover tightly and put in 300° oven for 4 hours until tender.

12Cool in liquid. Refrigerate overnight.

13Remove and dispose of fat that congeals on top.

14Slice.

15Can freeze at this point or refrigerate.

16When ready to serve, heat in 200° oven for 1 hour.

17Gravy is thin, but delicious.

18Good cold.
