  • 1 cup sugar, to taste
  • 1 (7 ounce) bag red cinnamon candies

    Quarter, core and peel apples (whatever quantity you wish).

    Heat water in a large pan.

    Add red hots to desired taste and dissolve.

    Add sugar to taste.

    Add apples and enough water to cover apples.

    Let cook until tender, covered.

    Cool down, then chill.
