  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 1/8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. bacon grease
  • 1 tsp. Accent

Directions

    Saute celery, onion, and bell pepper in bacon grease for 10 minutes.

    In a separate pan combine water, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil.

    Add rice and other ingredients.

    Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

    Put in a casserole dish and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
