  • 2 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 oz. red food coloring

    Combine flour and sugar in mixing bowl.

    Add all other ingredients, except for food coloring.

    Mix ingredients until smooth, then add food coloring.
