  • 7 c. sliced cucumbers
  • 1 c. sliced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed

    Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onion.

    Let stand 2 hours; drain.

    Bring to boil sugar and vinegar; boil 3 minutes.

    Let stand.

    Add mustard seed and celery seed.

    Pour over drained cucumbers. Pack into jars or carton.

    Do not seal.

    Refrigerate a week or two.
