- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 Tbsp. hot water
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients; cut in shortening.

2Add buttermilk and yeast that has been dissolved in hot water.

3Put in oiled bowl in refrigerator.

4You don't have to wait for rising.

5Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

6Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
