- 1 gal. cold water
- 1 qt. white vinegar
- 1 c. canning salt
- cucumbers
- dill sprigs
- garlic cloves
- small dried red chili peppers
Directions

1Mix and refrigerate cold water, vinegar and salt.

2Wash cucumbers and cut into spears.

3Pack in sterilized jars, adding a sprig of dill, clove of garlic and small red pepper.

4Pour liquid mixture over cucumbers and seal.

5Store in refrigerator.

6They will be ready in 7 to 10 days and will keep 3 months or longer.
