- 1 c. water
- 1 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 c. salt (cut salt in half)
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1 to 3 sliced onions
- cucumbers, sliced to fill gal. jar
Directions

1Put onions in bottom of gallon jar.

2Slice cucumbers and pack tightly on top.

3Pour brine over cucumbers and put on lid.

4Keep in refrigerator.

5Ready in about a week.

6Will keep for several months.
