Ingredients
- 2 c. compressed yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs
- 7 c. flour
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Crumble yeast into the lukewarm water.

2Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening; cool until lukewarm.

3Then add yeast and beaten eggs; mix well.

4Add about 4 or 5 cups of flour. Beat thoroughly, then add 2 to 3 cups of flour and knead (with hands) until the flour is worked into the dough.

5Place in a greased mixing bowl; cover well with heavy wax paper and place in refrigerator.

6After 2 hours, take out and allow to double in size in warm place.

7Knead down and let rise again.

8Make rolls by hand and place on greased cookie sheet.

9Allow to rise for 1 hour. Bake at 350° until done.
