Ingredients
- 2 pkg. quick acting yeast
- 3/4 c. melted shortening
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 8 to 8 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Add shortening, sugar, eggs, 4 cups of the flour and salt.

3Stir and then beat until smooth, about 1 minute.

4Stir in remaining flour.

5This will be a soft dough. Put in airtight container in refrigerator until needed.

6When ready to use punch down and pinch off 1/3.

7Put remaining dough in refrigerator in airtight container.

8It will keep several days. Can be used for rolls or bread.

9Let rise double.

10Bake in hot oven at 400° for 15 or 20 minutes.
