Ingredients

  • Big pot of water
  • 1 T. Oil (to keep from boiling over)
  • 1 T. Vinegar (to make rice whiter)
  • 2-3 c. rice

Directions

    Boil water. Add vinegar and oil. Stir in rice. Cook until rice is tender, about 15-18 minutes. Drain. Just remember that regular rice expands to three times its original amount during cooking. 1 cup raw rice makes 3 cups cooked rice. If you have extra rice, put in plastic bag and store in the refrigerator. To use, run hot water over until warmed.

    This rice is NEVER sticky or burnt like it can be when you cook by the package directions.
