- 8 slices white bread, broken into pieces
- 5 c. diced rhubarb
- 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 to 1 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. raisins
- cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
- 2 c. hot milk
Directions

1Mix sugars together.

2Layer bread, half the rhubarb and half the sugar into greased 2-quart casserole.

3Sprinkle with spices and raisins.

4Repeat, ending with bread on top.

5Pour hot milk over all.

6Beat 4 eggs slightly and pour over top.

7Bake 1 hour at 350°.
