  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. raw rhubarb, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Cream together first 8 ingredients, then fold in rhubarb and nuts.

    Pour into a 9 x 13 greased and floured pan.

    Mix cinnamon and 1/2 cup of sugar together and sprinkle on top of cake mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
