  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 5 c. sliced rhubarb
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. fresh orange juice
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Combine 2 cups flour and 2 teaspoons sugar. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs or meal.

    Press crumb

    mixture evenly in bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown. Set aside.
