  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 to 4 c. rhubarb

Directions

    Mix above ingredients together.

    Spread 1/2 mixture into 1 quart baking dish.

    Put in rhubarb and 1 1/2 cups sugar.

    Spread remaining batter on top.

    Bake at 350° until bubbly.
