  • 1 c. wild rice (Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice; do not use seasoning packet), cooked according to directions on pkg.
  • 1 c. white rice
  • 2 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 c. celery, chopped
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 2 (3 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/3 c. slivered almonds

Directions

    Cook rices according to directions on package (do not overcook).

    Melt butter in skillet and saute onions and celery. Add all ingredients to a 3-quart casserole or 9 x 13-inch dish. Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
