- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 4 c. cooked rice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 3 (4 oz.) cans green chiles
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Stir in hot rice, sour cream, cottage cheese and seasonings.

3In buttered dish, layer one-half of rice mixture; sprinkle with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 green chiles.

4Repeat layer of rice, cheese and chiles.

5Bake 1 hour at 350°.
