Ingredients
- 4 stalks celery
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 oz. instant bouillon (beef or chicken)
- 2 qt. hot water
- 2 (5 oz.) jars or cans mushrooms, chopped
- 3 c. raw rice
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
Directions

1Saute first 3 ingredients.

2Put in slow cooker or oven pan. Add 2 quarts of hot water, mushrooms and rice.

3Cook on high until moisture is absorbed.

4Season with beef or poultry seasoning to taste.

5Continue cooking until light and fluffy.

6Serve hot with any meat dish or by itself.
