- 1 cup Minute Rice
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 14 cups water
- 12 cup sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine rice, mixed vegetables, salt and water.

2Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.

3While rice is cooking, heat 2 T butter and 1/2 C sliced almonds in a saute pan.

4Turn frequently until almonds start to brown.

5Add almonds to rice mixture.

6Serve.
