  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 c. celery, sliced thinly
  • 3/4 c. onion, diced
  • 1 c. raw long grain rice
  • 1 pkg. chicken noodle soup mix
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme

Directions

    Saute rice, onion and celery with oleo until golden brown on low heat.

    Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
