- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms or 16 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 c. firmly chopped green pepper
- 1 c. raw white rice
- 2 c. canned chicken broth or chicken bouillon with water or substitute with beef
- dash of dried thyme leaves
Directions

1Saute mushrooms, onion and green pepper in butter.

2Add remaining ingredients and stir together. Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.

3Serves 6.
