- 2 sticks butter
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 3/4 c. rice
- 3/4 bag fine egg noodles
- pepper
- garlic powder
Directions

1Melt butter in large Dutch oven pan; add noodles to butter. Put burner on high.

2Stir noodles constantly until browned. remove from burner.

3Add chicken broth and small amount pepper and garlic powder to taste.

4Return to burner.

5Bring to a boil. After mixture is boiling add rice.

6Reduce heat to simmer.

7Cover pan.

8Stir occasionally.

9Rice pilaf is ready when most of chicken broth is absorbed.
