  • 1 qt. skim milk
  • 1 tsp. liquid artificial sweetener
  • 1/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Scald milk.

    Add sweetener and mix well.

    Add rice, nutmeg, vanilla and salt and stir.

    Pour into a lightly greased baking dish and bake in a 300° oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

    Stir several times during first 1 1/2 hours of baking.

    Cool before serving. Makes 5 servings, 75 calories per serving.
