- 1 pt. milk
- apples
- butter
- cream
- sugar
Directions

1Cook rice in milk until tender.

2Pare and slice enough tart apples to make a pint.

3Butter a pudding dish, put in a layer of rice, the apples and cover with the remainder of the rice.

4Cover and bake 20 minutes, then uncover.

5Dot with bits of butter and brown the top.
