  • 2 to 3 lb. rolled beef roast, tied (about the size of 2 softballs)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. hearty Burgundy
  • garlic salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Put seasonings on meat.

    Pour wine over roast.

    Roast meat, uncovered, in oven at 325° to desired degree of doneness.

    Turn part way through.

    Make gravy with drippings.

    Serve with mashed potatoes.
