Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. cooked oatmeal
  • 3/4 c. crushed Rusket flakes
  • 3 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped nutmeats
  • 1 tsp. Vegex or Savita
  • 4 Tbsp. hot water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can water

Directions

    Dissolve Vegex in 4 tablespoons of hot water.

    Combine all ingredients, except mushroom soup and water.

    Blend well and fry in patties.

    Place in casserole dish and cover with mushroom soup diluted with water.

    Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.
