- garlic
- olive oil
- thyme or basil
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Remove loose leaves from garlic head.

2Cut off top of garlic piercing all cloves.

3Drizzle olive oil over top.

4Sprinkle with thyme or basil.

5Season with salt and pepper, if desired, to taste.

6Set in garlic baker and cover with lid, or wrap in foil.

7Place in a cold oven.

8Bake 300 degrees (150 C.) for 1 hour.

9Remove cover and bake 20 minutes until brown lightly.

10Basting occasionally with olive oil will enhance browning.
