- 20 medium leeks
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups wine (optional)
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions

1Clean and trim the leeks, leaving some of the root on.

2Steam the leeks in water or wine until almost cooked.

3Place leeks on a hot grill.

4Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

5Cook on each side for three to five minutes, or until they are slightly charred.
