Roasted Venison Steak

  • 3 or 4 large deer steaks, marinated several hours in cold water and 1/2 c. vinegar, rinsed and dried
  • 1 large bottle ketchup
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 large Vidalia onion
  • black pepper
  • salt

Directions

    Line casserole dish or large deep dishpan with foil.

    Chop steaks into bite-size pieces.
  3. 3
    Place steak pieces in pan and cover with ketchup.
  4. 4
    Chop onion and bell pepper and spread over steak. Stir together.

    Put remaining ketchup on top.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° until meat is done.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
