- 1 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 5 to 6 c. flour
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Mix Crisco, plus sugar.

2To this, add 1 cup boiling water and mix well.

3Add 1 more cup of boiling water to finish dissolving Crisco.

4Put thermometer in and when temperature drops between 105 to 110°, add yeast.

5Stir well and add beaten eggs.

6Dump the mixture into the flour and mix until blended only.

7Cover and let rise twice or refrigerate overnight.

8Punch down and knead.

9Roll out into rolls.

10Let rise 1 1/2 hours.

11Bake at 350° for 13 to 15 minutes.
