- 1 pkg. RapidRise dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Mix yeast and warm water together; set aside.

2Melt butter; add buttermilk.

3Add yeast mixture to lukewarm liquid.

4Add salt, sugar, soda and beaten egg.

5Stir in 1 cup flour.

6Beat all together and add 2 cups flour.

7Put dough in greased bowl and leave in a cool placed until 2 hours prior to serving.

8Roll out and cut.

9Grease tops and bottoms with butter; fold in half. Place in pans and let rise at room temperature.

10Bake at 450° about 10 to 15 minutes.
