- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. cold milk
- 4 to 5 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add sugar and mix well.

3Add softened butter and cream together.

4Add beaten eggs slowly.

5Sift flour and salt together and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

6Turn onto a floured board and knead for 1/2 minute. The dough should be soft.

7Make into little balls about 1 1/2-inches in diameter.

8Roll out each ball on floured board with the palm of hand to form strip about 4 1/2 to 5-inches long. Intertwine 2 strips and shape into a circle, tucking end on the bottom.

9Place on a greased cookie sheet; cover and let rise in warm place, free of draft.

10When doubled, bake in a 400° oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until tops are slightly golden.
