- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar, divided
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
- 3 (1/4 oz.) pkg. yeast (dry)
- 1/4 c. warm water (100~ to 120~)
Directions

1Heat milk and margarine together in saucepan until margarine melts.

2Pour into large bowl (mixing) to cool 5 to 10 minutes until lukewarm.

3Add 1/2 cup sugar, salt and egg.

4Mix.

5Add 2 cups flour to milk mixture and stir well.

6Dissolve yeast and remaining 1 tablespoon sugar in water and add to flour mixture. Stir in enough of remaining flour to make sticky dough.
