  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 egg yolks and whites of 2
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • lump of butter (size of egg)
  • 1 c. vinegar

Directions

    Cook in double boiler until thick.

    Put into quart jar.

    Will keep in refrigerator indefinitely.

    Dilute with cream when used.
