Salami Cheese Balls

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/3 c. pitted black olives, chopped
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small wedge onion, chopped, or 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 (3 oz.) hard salami

Directions

    Beat the cream cheese, olives, onion and Parmesan until smooth.

    Chill for 2 to 3 hours, then shape into ball or log. Finely chop the salami.

    If using a blender to do this, add small amount of water and drain off any excess liquid when chopped. Roll cheese ball in salami to cover outside.

    Chill until ready to serve.

    Can be frozen.
