  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3 slices bread
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 3/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can water

Directions

    Beat eggs; add milk and crumbled bread and let soak.

    Mix all ingredients except bread crumbs.

    Shape into 1/2 inch thick patties.

    Coat with bread crumbs.

    Fry in skillet.

    Mix mushroom soup with water and pour over fried patties.

    Heat until bubbly. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
