- 2 (16 oz.) cans whole tomatoes (we prefer Libby's diced tomatoes; do not use stewed tomatoes unless you like a sweeter tasting salsa)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Japanese red pepper
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. fresh cilantro or 1 Tbsp. dried
- 1 bunch chopped green onions
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- salt to taste
Directions

1Drain juice from tomatoes into blender.

2Add garlic, red pepper, cilantro, cumin and salt.

3Blend on high until well blended.

4Add tomatoes and green onions.

5Blend gently for 1 to 2 seconds or stir with spoon for chunky salsa.

6Add more or less of any of the spices to fit your taste.
