Saltine Cracker Cake

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 32 regular saltine crackers or 1 pkg. saltine thin crackers, crushed
  • 2 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple

Directions

    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar as for angel food cake. Add sugar, nuts and crackers.

    Add to egg white mixture.

    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 35 minutes.

    Cool.

    Prepare Dream Whip.

    Put on cake.

    Add pineapple on top of Dream Whip. Sprinkle with coconut.
