Ingredients

  • 7/8 c. butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 4 Tbsp. sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream butter; add sugar, flour, water, nuts and vanilla. Measure 1 teaspoon, roll and shape into balls.

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 25 to 35 minutes.

    Roll in sifted powdered sugar while cookies are still warm.

    Makes 3 dozen.
