  • 2 lb. margarine or butter
  • 4 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. warm water
  • 10 to 12 c. all-purpose flour
  • chopped toasted pecans

Directions

    Cream together first 4 ingredients.

    Add flour until dough doesn't stick to your hands and is easy to roll into 3/4-inch bars. Work in chopped pecans and shape into crescents.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 375° approximately 30 minutes, or until lightly golden.

    After cookies are cooled, roll in powdered sugar gently because they break easily.
