- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 c. mashed potatoes
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Combine sausage, beef, salt and pepper.

2Make into 1-inch balls.

3Brown in shortening; drain and let cool.

4Beat eggs and milk together.

5Coat sausage balls with mashed potatoes.

6Dip in egg mixture and roll in bread crumbs.

7Let set 30 minutes. Deep-fry until golden brown.
