- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 large can creamed corn
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Grease 10 1/2-inch skillet.

3Brown sausage and onion.

4Drain well.

5Combine egg, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil.

6Stir well.

7Pour 1/2 cornbread in skillet.

8Layer sausage and cheese.

9Spoon remaining batter on top.

10Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
