- 4 slices bread, cubed
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 to 3/4 lb. sausage or ham
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. - 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. milk (for soup)
Directions

1Place cubed bread in bottom of grease 8 x 8-inch baking dish and top with cheese.

2Brown sausage and drain.

3Place on top of cheese.

4Beat eggs with milk and mustard, pour over sausage mixture.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6Next day dilute soup with milk and pour over top.

7Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours at 300°.

8Serves 4.
