  • 1/4 cups Butter
  • 1/2 cups Sliced Carrots
  • 1/2 cups Sliced Celery
  • 2 cups Sliced Leeks
  • 2 cups Shredded Cabbage
  • 1-1/2 quart Chicken Broth Or Stock
  • 2 cups Diced Potatoes
  • 1 pound Polish Kielbasa Sausage, Sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoons Marjoram
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste

Directions

    In a heavy-bottomed pan, cook the celery and carrots in melted butter until soft. Add the leeks and cook until they are softened. Add the cabbage and saute until wilted.

    Pour in the chicken stock/broth and potatoes. Cook until the potatoes are tender and add sliced kielbasa.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon of marjoram and salt and pepper to taste.

    Simmer for 10 minutes.
